Boxing Day run: Oxford
So I ran this route again, this time with my brother-in-law Ben. Apparently we did it in 36 minutes which was a whole 9 minutes quicker than 2 1/2 months ago. So training is having some impact, which is a relief.

Run No.3 Oxford
Beautifully sunny day, first run in Oxford and despite once again not being ideally prepared, it was OK. 5.66 miles in 45 minutes 04 seconds. Just under 9 minute miles, which would give me a marathon time of 3 hours 54 minutes, which sounds like a very long time to be running. Still if I can repeat that same at that same pace 5 times in a row, I'll be all right. Or possibly dead.
University parks is a nice place to run though.
